Looks like a joke gone to far to me. I can understand why the kid would be scarred by this, never found the video funny myself; just some kid dancing - nothing we don't all do every Saturday in a club...but probably a lot worse than that!!

Well I think he had it coming to him really to do something like that. If you ARE going to do it at least lock it away so noone can see it!

I found it funny, but I can understand the humiliation. It was cool when they added the lightsabre effects, but Ithink some have just gone a bit too far.

erm, well:

1.They werent his mates (at least I dont think so)
the were his classmates
2.If i became known around the whole world because of a humiliating video of me doing my thang with a sabre, if it was posted on every forum, every site. If people create variations of it, Matrix; Terminator; A New Hope; The Last Samurai, if people did that and then they all went on kazaa and were download hundres of times a day. I would not just laugh and say 'ah well, good joke guys - you really are the swellest!'. I'd probably never speak to them again and I certainly wouldnt laugh at myself - why bother? There are billions of people laughing at me around the world anyway, it'll make no difference if I do.

Basically, this guy doesent deserve to be posted on the internet, known by billions of people. He just recorded himself playing Star Wars, we have all done something like that in our lives.

it's not just a few of your mates laughing, it's the whole world! imagine everywhere you go, someone pointing and laughing at you or making some star wars reference...

especially if you're young and have low self esteem anyway, this whole thing's going to make it much worse.

if it was me i'd be walking the streets proud as he's as near a celebrity as any of the goons off Big Brother or any other 'fly on the wall' documentary... and i'm sure he's made a fair bit of cash from donations and such..
