    How much do you drink?

I'm talking Alco-mohol here, not water or lemonade.

How much per week do you put away? And do you fret about it?

I'm on alower intake than 2 years ago, but still polish off a fair amount, in fact, prolly too much, but hey ho and all that

    So...4 cans a night? 3/4 - 1 bottle of vino per night?

or are you a vodka person?

Depends on the week, if i'm going out, 4 cans before leaving the house so its much cheaper when i get there, maybe 2 pints while there, then finish off any drinks my friends order and cant finish (they all have eyes bigger than their stomachs)

I stopped spirits a while ago as I was becoming semi imune and that worried me. Beer and wine still make me pleasantly tipsy, and I love both....really love

Seeing as I am at uni I am always out in the pub etc.

On a average night out including a club I will drink:

a bottle of red wine before going out,
Couple of double vodkas a red bull
    4 Pints

On a normal trip to the pub I will have about 5/6 pints

Well I'm a reformed alcoholic so nowadays Im a 2 cans of lager,2 cans of cider(to make snakebite) followed by 3 or 4 whiskey and Irn Bru's.I'll drink those 4 or 5 nights a week.I think it's a bit excessive tho my wife doesn't mind as I don't get "drunk".Nothing compared to my pure alcoholic years of 2x1litre bottles of whiskey a day......plus whatever cans "friends brung round".
There's people round here who are knocking on the shops door at 7.30am wanting cans of beer...

Well this week has been a bit of a drinking feast. I work full-time, so I'm not a student

Saturday: Had approximately 4 pints, 4 vodka shots and 2 vodka and cokes 4 double vodka and red bulls.

Tuesday: Went to visit a friend at university, stopped over the night (Day off work). Had approximately 7 or 8 pints of Diesel (A mix of lager, cider and blackcurrant), and 3 vodka and cokes.

Tonight: I'm going to play football and across the road is a pub, so no doubt we'll pop in there after for a nice cool pint or 2.

Tomorrow (Thurs): Going out into town to a "Curry Club", which will probably turn into a bit of a boozy do, so again another 5 pints maybe?

Sunday: With it being a bank holiday I'll be going out to wind down. Probably have the equivalent of 5 or 6 pints.

I now feel a bit ill after reading that back....

...haven't had a drink for three years...

By the end of my student days I was heading to the pub at opening time and putting away between 10 and 14 pints on a four day a week basis...

Then I got a job, earned some cash, didn't need to drink watered down piss anymore, and started going out of a night, mostly drinking vodka redbulls, with tequila on the side....don't remember numbers, but I was going out 3 or four times a week spending £100+ each time...although I was smoking and Smoking at the time, so you've got to take that spend into account. And the nights I wasn't out I'd be drinking a bottle of wine most nights..

Then I got married, and had a kid, and haven't drunk anything since....awwww....and apart from occasionally really fancying a nice glass of merlot (anybody seen Sideways?) I can't say I've missed it. Don't miss the hangovers, don't miss the throwing up, don't miss the acting like a tit....so I guess it's all good...

On average go down the pub twice a week, probably have 4-6 pints per visit. Also have a couple of bottles of wine a week with the wife. Dont get totally hamered anymore, prefer to enjoy my drink, rather than drink to get pissed.

I tuck away quite a bit nowadays. I'm stuck in a bit of a rut ATM so I tend to come home and get pissed most nights out of boredom. Last night had a bottle of wine followed up by a few beers, I probably average between half a bottle to a bottle of wine most weeknights, 8-10 pints in the pub Friday and/or Saturday....and I don't drink weak beer.

I'm also off the spirits, 'cos once I start I find it hard to stop and end up getting VERY drunk.

Usually I go out once a week, and have 3-4 pints, and maybe 2-3 bottles of Budvar.

I stopped drinking vodka for 2 years after it started making me lose my temper. I am okay with it now though after small amounts.

Three nights a week there are pound a pint nights I can easily get to, and I usually have 3-4. Lets say 10 a week from this.

If Arsenal are on TV I'll definately watch that too and probably have a couple of pints. Generally once a week.

Thursday night is the main night for going out and I usually start with some shots/jd and coke before we leave then onto pints once we are actually out. lets say, a shot, 3 single JD and cokes and 3 pints.

    *totals it up*
15 pints, a shot of something and 3 JD and cokes.
