depends on what you mean. I created the backgrounds in Fireworks. You can do the same in any image editing application that will save .png files.

Not sure what you mean by the meters being customised though

thats not a regular meter noodle. My guess would be that it's a tranpsarent image sitting on top of a vertical progressbar. By that I mean that the bars that look like

    ----------
    --------
    ------
    ----
    --

are one image with tranpsarent bits for the bars. You see what I mean ?

Yeah I see what you mean, its not so hard to do the basic stuff but to get it to look good it starts to get complex, i think i'll stick to using other peoples templates for now.

Unfortunatly it isnt yet possible to have a progress bar put below a PNG image in this version of samurize.

What you have to do is...

    1) Create multiple progress bars, say 10 to make it easy.
    2) Set the Min and Max on the bars in ranges of 10, like 0-10 10-20 20-30 etc.. till you get to 90-100
    3) Then arrange the bars in the correct width and layout position.

Its fiddly but the only way to do it atm, and your right the effect is cool once you shade them slightly differently. If you're stuck i made a simple one at work i can send to you then you can merge it into your own config or anyone elses.

Excellent. I've only managed a very basic samurize skin for my desktop. Those will brighten it up a treat. Many thanks [Az].

Hey AZ: I've tried modifying your Cybar skin, as it wasn't reading my third HD space properly, and upon saving it, it couldn't find a sharereactor24.vbs script. I was wondering whether you could please provide this script, as I really like this samurize skin you created, but would just like to change it ever so slighty.

    Thanks in advance.

i dont have this script any more, it displayed the latest releases at sharereactor, have a look on www.samurize.com for it. Remove the section that uses the sript and you should be able to save, it's probably a large text area under the main bar somewhere
