Shame, I watched an interview with him on Channel 4 and he seemed (albeit drugged up) a nice guy. Obviously that was just for the camera huh?

I don't get the whole Pete Doherty thing...
I have both Libertines albums, and have listened to them both properly, but don't have an ounce of liking for them. They were hailed as the 'greatest band in years', and Pete's lyrics are meant to rival those of Bob Dylan. To me, they sound exactly like what they are, drunk junkies playing pathetic twiddly guitar over slurring vocals. |
