    god thats annoying

some arse rings me up at 1am on my mobile and all I get when I pick up is some strange music.
I try to call back to determine the culprit - thinking a mate is having a laugh at me - but again I get this random music...
so 15mins later this weirdo calls and I just let the phone ring and pick up the message on the answer phone. but when I listen to it it turns out to be some sort of recorded sound-bite or something...just f8ing strange and unnecessary.

now, a number does come up on my phone - but its not listed in my phone book at all. and I don't recognise it.
is there anyway to find out without having to ring this number - its in London I know that (0207....) - where it is? or who is behind it at all??

god that annoying. right, I'll hit back. I'll wake up at 4am especially to call this freak (of course I'll hide my caller ID) then I'll go back to sleep happy in the knowledge that i'v pissed this guy off equally as much

Please, Don't ask for that one 'as a desktop'...its really not worth wasting your time asking, unless you're able to pay £££?

I get these occasionally. Strange phone calls and if you ring back the number shown, it's either invalid or you just get more wierdness!! Can't some people leave us alone

perhaps if I left this dude's number up all over the place someone will call him/her/it...kind of like mail bombing only through the phone hehehe!

I used to have a friend at college that did just that to other peopel in the class to annoy them. He found one of these websites that lets you send free SMS messages and figured a way to get it to automatically send SMS messages infinatly, so classmates were constantly being bombed by messages! Unfortunatly you cant do it anymore the website fixed the loophole in there website

I used to get weirdass phonecalls from random women from England. Though I think this started from a random text from a girl saying "I really enjoyed last night" and I txt back saying "WTF???" considering I wasnt out that night. And cue strange phonecalls from different locations in England at different (and untimely) times too - totally confused me more than irritated I have to admit.

well this number actually came up on my phone - would BT disclose info to me if I told them I'd been getting nusance call from this number? a name or address?
I think I'v nailed the first part of the code - first few numbers at least - in terms of where its from, North London, perhaps around Hampstead Heath area...not 100% certain of course but thats where other numbers with the same 4 or 5 numbers are...

    the plot thickens

I ment for when the g/f is upset over something and phones you at 3am crying, it's a 24/7 job
