quick ebay Question
just sold something (yay!), buyer paying through paypal, just wondering; to have the payment send direct to my bank account what do I have to do?
cheers (yes yes, mock me for my ebay newbie-ness ...we all have to start somewhere!)
Please, Don't ask for that one 'as a desktop'...its really not worth wasting your time asking, unless you're able to pay £££?

With Paypal have you confirmed you're address and everything on it, can take up to 10 days to do that, if not could be why you are getting that message.

Tranfering money to your bank account can take 10 days or more, but i usually find it takes 5-7 days. It's free if the amount is over £50, a 50p charge is aplied if its under. EDIT : Premier just mean's you account is verified. Paypal will charge a small free (a few pence) to you account then refund it. If you look on the bank/credit card statement you will see reference number. Enter this in at paypals website and your verified. Paypal ill only accept £500 (IIRC) of transactions until you verify it (will work normally until you reach that amount). Last edited by autopilot; 30-09-2005 at 11:53 AM.. |

While were on the subject of the confirmed status thingy, is it true that to have a "confirmed" address you have to have a credit card attached to your paypal account rather than a bank account?

My darn Paypal account would not accept a credit card payment yesterday without "upgrading". I had to refuse the payment and tell the user to pay again. My address and bank details are verified. How they call paying 3.4% on money received an upgrade is beyond me, lol.

i'm having the same problem currently...i'll have to refuse and then ask the buyer to re-send the money. what a hassle. can't understand after all the hoop jumping to add an account it then asks you to upgrade to premium rubbish. what money grabbing time wasters!

oh jesus, f^£$£*g, bloody what a pile of...
i got the buyer to resend the payment and its still demanding I upgrade to premium account - for a fee and will contiune to charge me left right and centre. its also f*ing me around with someone I'm trying to send money to...! aaaaah!! do I have to be owning a premium account to accept money through? what a joke! edit: something to do with the fact its 'funded with a credit card' ...? is there something i suggest the buyer to change to make it all happy and so I don't have to go sign up for yet more at paypal?...
