    Most of what they say sums up why they dont like the games, most kids look for flashiness(is this a word!!!) and fanciness of a game rather than how the game play is.

    Other kids look for gratuitous violence.

    This is only a generalised view though, not all kids are the same as this, some do like games for their gameplay

    I dunno...I knew what steroids were at that age....mainly through playing too much duke nukem. But they may have been told about it at the "drugs are evil" lessons at school.
