Why? [And no, why not isn't sufficient.]

Don't those really hurt when you tense your arm?

Do you play any sports at all? If those catch on something and rip, that's going to be eff-ing painful.

Ears, nose, eye brow I can appreciate, but not that. Sorry.

and you say pointless, what huge purpose do most piercings serve other than to make the person with them happier

How does sticking some metal/plastic in your arm make you happier? Seriously. I'm not aiming to take the p|ss here, dude. I'm interested.

Is it the feeling of the piercing? Looking at them? The reaction from others?

Hmm..as old fashion as it sounds, I like things natural. I find women who don't wear make up, or little more attractive than those that do. Don't really see the point of piercings, but hey, thats me. Just trying to understand why those make you happy.

And yeah -- I'd say they were kinda extreme/dusturbing.

Well i've liked the idea for a while now and finally ended up getting it done, i think it looks good but i understand its a bit extreme and most people will never have seen anything like it.

As for whats enjoyable about em, i like the way they look and theres a definite adrenaline rush when you get em done.

Women that don't wear make up do tend to be more attractive, and im not saying that everyone should like what i've had done, most people don't (judging by todays reaction anyway) basically i did it for me.

I know they're likely to grow out pretty quick as they ain't in very deep, but i wasn't exactly intending on keeping them the rest of my life.

why do you need bits of metal through your arm to make you happier? Are you not happy with yourself as a person? if so surely there are better ways to correct it than this.

It's nothing personal, it's not u i dont like, its the bits of metal through your arm :s
