    The Million Dollar Hompage

I saw a feature on this site a couple of days ago in the paper. The lad is only 21 and has just started uni. I'm thinking about buying a square on the site (£54) to generate some hits to my website. Looking at the case studies it seems to be working well for people.

I would love to be this guy, what a great idea.

Link should be working, it's fine for me.

Can someone edit these two pictures to 10*10 pixels and upload them for me so I can have a look. I don't have a graphics editor here on my mac

cheers for that the only problem is that you can't tell they are TV's. Might have to use a block of colour or this image.

Any chance you could resize that as well?

repost of : Make A Million Dollars

but then again this is slightly different

Are you sure it's worth the money for such a small add? i really dont think it's worth it on that site unless its a 100x100 add or bigger since people just won't notice it, and most clicks you get would be random ones/mistakes. Plus once the media attention goes away i doubt it will get that many uniques to his site anyway..

theres hundreds of these sites now, all for different prices per pixel, some are even free.

There is a site that lists them all, but i can't find it now

Isn't most of the traffic generated from people curious about the site and the types of people advertising, rather than actually interested in the sites the links lead to?

A lot of the links are kind of dubious as well, gambling, hosting, how to copy DVD's, where to download movies, etc, etc.

You also have to remember, once that page is full, your advert will become a needle in a haystack (it's pretty much like that already)

Erm, well yeah, half a million dollars... minus tax (35-45%?), plus conversion rate.... £250-300k?
