    Is it a woman's prerogative

to be miserable? Sometimes my mum can be SO miserable (she's 52) and it's so damn annoying! I wish she'd just wake up and stop argh! She has had a hard life, but we live well now and I wish she'd just appreciate it more (I think she does, but it's still annoying!).

Why not go to the local florists get a nice bunch of flowers, nip to Thornton's and get a nice box of Continental chocolates and then go home give them to her.

Then tell her to put her feet up, make her a brew while you polish and hoover for a while.

I bet that frown changes within 20 minutes to a nice smile

To be miserable is fine.... it's when you bring everyone else down with your moods moaning and misery there's a problem.

Iv'e been in a foul mood past couple of days, tried to keep it to myself because it's not fair, Jon works hard and doesn't need the hassle when he gets home, but last night i burst into tears when he asked why i was quiet, i did get a nice hug and he bought me some stella and cheesecake

    When am I never not

I'll hold my hands up and admit in the past I used to be blinkered and not bother at all helping doing the housework or even do anything remotely like the above.

Last thing I bought my mum off the spur was a new DVD player that supports webradio, divx and xvid because I overheard her complaining that her older one was not the right colour to go with the rest of the equipment she had bought - after the 1st DVD player.

Funny isn't it how times change as you grow older.

Thats more likely to result in a "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?.....A GIRL PREGNANT? ARRESTED? DO YOU HAVE NO SENSE?!"

Hahaha. If she thinks there's some hidden motive for doing such things then you're just gonna have to act like that for the rest of your life
