Need a present for a 10-year old boy

I'm running out of ideas about which birthday present I should get for a 10-year old boy (my girlfriends' son). Any suggestions are welcome. I have a budget of up to £100.

    A Scaletrix!

    An indoor remote control helicopter.

    One of those RC blimps

    Or an RC car

    A hooker?

Nick, i'm not sure about the last option. His mum would kill me! He does like cars so an RC car would be ideal. I'm trying to locate a supplier of smaller (mini) RC cars that can run on standard batteries as he's at the age where he'll get bored of a present very quickly!

Machetes seem to be the in thing at the moment.

failing that, how about an Elvis suit?

You can get a barnett black widow catapult for less than a tenner.

If you can run to it (£100-150?), and if you've got the space for him to ride it safely, one of those minimotos would be a guaranteed winner I reckon. I would have been eternally grateful to anyone who bought me one of those when I was ten. As it was I got an old moped to ride around my Grandad's field for my 13th birthday; trouble is he lives 140 miles away so I only got to ride it 6 times a year. Still very grateful though, oh the fun I had.

Edit: 50 ****ing quid for an Optimus Prime?!?!?! I know they weren't cheap when I was a lad but I'm sure they were no more than £20. I had a Starscream which I'm sure cost my parents £12.99 or something.
