    Favourite Music for Different Moods.

Here are the songs/artists I like for different moods:

Exercise: Anything by The Chemical Brothers or The Crystal Method

Driving: Some of The Vines stuff like Outtathaway, Get Free, Highly Evolved & FTW and The Offspring's Staring at the Sun and No Brakes. And The Cardigan's track My Favourite Game.

Chilling Out: Jeff Lorber, Marcus Miller and most other instrumental jazz. 43 by Level 42 is great.

Angry: lol, propably some off Offspring like Americana, No Brakes, Huck It, Bad Habit, Smash and So Alone. The Vines FTW works well too and a few tracks of Lagawagon's album Trashed. Oh and Ask The Magic 8 Ball by Less Than Jake. Anything by Rage Against The Machine too.

Depressed: Haha, I feel so emo! Breaking the Habit by Linkin Park. Most Coldplay and The Smiths songs. Red Hot Chili Pepper's song Dosed and some Athlete songs. But the ultimate sad song though is Gone Away by The Offspring (Allegedly written by Dexter after the death of his first wife in a car accident).

Happy: Most of the Hives stuff 'cause it's so mad! Most of Less Than Jake's stuff too. Some of Blur's brighter and funny stuff. Anything by Beck too!

Now let's see what your songs are. Please add more categories if you wish, too.

Lagwagon lol, didnt think anyone on here would have heard of them, they aren't very famous unless you're into punk i guess!

Excercise: dont really listen because when im running, dont want my mp3 player to fall out of my pocket - but would prolly be happy hardcore because its fast

    Driving: i dont drive

Chilling: anything from hardcore to classical to hiphop to death metal depending on what i wanna listen too

Angry: definitely gabba altho suppose not many people know it (dutch hardcore really)

Depressed: still hardcore, just different songs, or classical (moonlight sonata and adagio for strings ftw )

    Happy: happy hardcore

To get an avatar requires you make 500 sensible posts.....yet still people ask so why do I even bother having this here!

Exercise: Some club fierce active Timbaland tracks, like "Headsprung" by LL Cool J, or some nice drum n bass if it's fast paced exercise, I always love CD2 of Andy C - The Nightlife

Driving: Pft I don't drive yet, but it would be some bounce tracks like Mr. Me Too - Clipse (Produced by The Neptunes) or Dream - Ms Jade (Produced by Timbaland)...

Chilling out: The new Nelly Furtado album, Loose. One of my favourite albums over the past 12 months... Either Say It Right, or All Good Things ft Chris Martin from Coldplay (the unreleased proper version that got cut due to label politics )

Angry: Don't listen to music that fuels the anger lol

    Depressed: Erm... don't know :/

Happy: My Timbaland & Neptunes playlists My Timbo one has almost every single track known to man produced by him hurrah!

Also we should add a gaming music one, mine would be the hiphop playlist with just randoms that are added, or if I need to play competitively well, some Drum N Bass. For me, DnB is like hax, for some reason I shoot to the top of the leaderboard in frantic games like UT2004 :/

Nice to see someone here likes Royksopp

General: loads of alternative stuff.. classic rock, classical music, soad, metallica, the list is waaay too long

Happy: counting crows, old red hot chili peppers, stuff from general..

Hmm in fact, i think i listen to the same selection of music for pretty much all moods - partially the music determines the mood as oposed to vice versa.
