    Sky Customer Service ROCKS!

Just gotta say, that Im really so impressed with the customer service at Sky.

We've been with them for just over 6 months and they called last night because there was a query on our account, couldnt really figure out why because we were fully paid up and everything.
Anyway, there must've been some problem with their computer system or something because they eventually decided the only way to sort it would be if I paid my next bill now - about a week or so early and to encourage me to do so we're now getting our next 6 mths of Sky at half price!

Talk about touch! Thank you Mr Sky!!

Just hoping now that it isnt some kind of scam... though I seriously doubt it, its not like Sky are struggling for money or anything is it?!

It sounds a bit fishy but I doubt Sky would stoop that low as to start scamming people, like you say, they're loaded!

I'm still enjoying a free year of Sky courtesy of working in Currys when I moved down here. They offered it to all employees of DSG as far as I know, and I got to sign up for it the day before I left to a much better job

Be Careful! We had a fella that phoned up from 'Sky' so we thought to say that he wanted to check are package for some reason and wanted all our details and so on, we didnt give him any because it sounded fishy, as we didnt have some things he was talking about. We did 1471 and googled the number and its a scam number, so watch out!

Put it this way... if they were asking for your full card details you know it's something dodgy and probably a scammer. As SKY would probably just ask you for the last 4 digits of your card for confirmation.

    I'm with the scam crowd.

Phone Sky now, using the number from the sky website just to make sure. Better risking making a fool of yourself than being swindled.

sounds well dodgy, check your bank and ring them and tell them whats happened,, they will probably cancel your card and send you another one. and ring sky as well...if you can get through.

I'd get on the phone to the bank straight away if I was you Honoop cancel the card and also report it to Sky and change the details on the sky account as well.

It does sound fishy to me.

In all the years I had sky TV and paid sometimes a month or 2 late they never once RANG me to query why I was paying late, or paying double sometimes as well

    I just hope it's not a scam.

Well I just spoke to Sky and they have definitely received the payment that I made last night - so thats the good thing, coz you lot started getting me worried! (Phew!)
Only thing is that there is no note about the half price thing the guy was going on about , so I think I shall be having to phone up again when I get home coz Ive got the details of the guy I spoke to there.

At least it wasnt a scam!
