Computer Grammar
I hear it a lot working in a school.
"Sir some of the mouses don't work" I would like to point out that the correct plural of mouse is mice. For example. My mouse is broken. Some mice in the room are broken These mice are excellent There is a mouse running across the floor Just something else which seems to be getting on my nerves of late. Guess I must be getting old!

Good point. I like the way people give up on grammar and spelling the moment they get near a computer.
On a similar point, what is the plural of "Core Duo"? Core Duos, or Cores Duo, a la Courts Martial?

OK, Viruses or Virii? I know Virii is technically right, but it makes me feel like a smart-"botty" if I use that term!!

I wouldn't say it annoys me, but I find it interesting how these words come in the language but don't gain full amalagmation because of a lack of versions to describe the group or many of the same.
For viruses it should be the same as the medical term for many virus illness...not sure what they use though. |

Mouses, while incorrect, is at least contructed using correct grammatical logic.
It's the lack of capitals and text abbreviations that I find far more irritating. Oh and: 'There's a moose, loose about this hoose'
