    Paul Hunter Dead.

Don't know if many of you watch the snooker, but Paul Hunter has lost his battle with cancer, he was only 27.

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/othe...er/6035879.stm

Gutted. He was still playing while he was having treatment, and I thought he'd pull through.

    Tragically young age as well.

Jeez! It's stunning to see young sports professionals, nay anyone, pass on so young. I guess it proves nothing is certain except we're all mortal.

    RIP sir.

No! Christ, he was a brave man.

My thoughts go out to his family.

I truly am sorry to hear this news...

This man was an outstanding snooker player and a true character in the game. He was pipped to be the next Ronnie O'Sullivan and was cut down in his prime.

My thoughts go out to his friends and family.

Me too. I thought he was over the worst of it, then I heard this today out of the blue and it totally stunned me.

He was an outstanding player too. Really sad news.

That's very sad to hear. I remember how ill, but brave, he looked when he was last on the telly. A real loss to snooker and this country.
