    Do not question the Authorities

I'm feeling a little frustrated about the 'no discussion' policy of the admins with regards to people who have been banned. People are right to question what caused it to happen, and the locking of threads, refusal to discuss the situation, seems a little daft....these forums have always been open to discussion on all levels of topics, apart from on this subject, and although Hexus is very much the baby of certain people, most would agree that it's grown bigger than their own vested interest, and needs to develop a mature attitutude to all aspects of the forums.

After all, if certain people broke the rules, with the rules clearly defined, then surely there should be no reason why people shouldn't be able to discuss what happened.

That's part of what you agreed to when you signed up to the forums. Basically, it's their forum, so they decide what gets discussed, whether it's legitimate or not.

The rules are clearly known, so I'm sure people know if they break them. Anyway, I'm sure you get a warning before anything happens...

I think the banning is probably not worth talking about and was of an idiot, so I am not upset. They have their reasons and people are only banned from hexus for a VERY good reason. I think you will have to learn to live with it.

As much as I am for open forums, I think this is one topic area that doesn't need discussing. The mods are, after all, responsible, level headed people, capable of making decisions affecting the running of the forums.

As Zak said in one of his posts, people are only banned after much (private) discussion, and rightly so. To open the topic of who is and who isn't banned to the public would prejudice the fair administration of the forum.

in the end hexus regular members dont stay around for scans's free shipment or the technical support (sry scan i will do a order soon to compensate my foolish words) , they stay because they feel there is a little space that belongs to them here.

Hexus have full rights to control what is theirs and i am sure there were more than enough reasons to ban him but that is not what we discussing here. The closed thread in my view was harmless it wasn’t offensive and neither tried to go against the authority of hexus staff.
Said so I don’t understand it was so uncomfortable to have it, in the end it was a simple attempt to say goodbye and find out why one of our members left us.

    I agree with the above.

I didn't create that thread to be troublesome. I agree with the banning but I think all this hush hush is a little ott. The thread was made to be conversational

Ahh well. Not much I can do. I cant really complain as this is the best forum I ever had the pleasure of joining. Although I wouldn't mind seeing the reintroduction of the soundcard box in "my system" *cough*

    With love and many thanks,

    Melons

Because that was his previous moniker.

I for one haven't been bothered by any of the bannings... Certainly don't care that they're gone and I have a general idea as to why they're gone anyway

It's the mods/admins forums and so they get to choose what goes and what doesn't. It's generally excepted that discussions into individual cases aren't done so we should just accept it... we all got over PrivatePyle did we not!?! It's a very hospitable place here and they are very open as I discovered personally - anywho as clunk says... it could be overclockers !
