Help me with these quiz answers please ! :D
Okay, got this christmas quiz at work, and a load of us are stuck on two parts...
The way the quiz works, theres a list of 100 different things, in the form of say: 12 D of C : The answer is 12 Days of Christmas and 4 CB : 4 Calling Birds All the things generally relate to christmas and new year, and some are a bit silly, like: CD 1926 H becomes E of J = Christmas Day 1926 Hirohito Becomes Emperor of Japan The ones we're all stuck on is: NYD is the "C" We've figured it's NEW YEARS DAY is the..., but the " " must be a quote or a name or a title or something and One HOS We don't think it is "One hat on Santa" Any ideas would be appreciated, cheers Last edited by DaveyD; 09-12-2003 at 11:25 AM.. |

It sounds right, but i'm still not 100% sure on it, as there are only a few things in the quiz with a "x", and usually doing a title or something... will stick it down anyway probably cheers
Edit, found it out ! New Years Day is the "Calend" a Roman thing for first day of the month i think Last edited by DaveyD; 09-12-2003 at 11:26 AM.. |
