Best radiohead moment for me was when they played south park in oxford. He was in the middle of paranoid android singing rain down, rain down on me and the heavens opened. It was just awesome!

They do put on a good show I have to say

But I have still never seen a gig with a better show than Rammstein - fireworks, flamethrowers, people boiled in pots, very impressive stage setup, and good music Sure their lyrics make no sense in english or german (actually make even less sense in german) but they do put on a good show.

Metallica know how to do a good show too..but obviously in a different way - such as playing the entire Master of Puppets album @ download this year

Oh yes Muse are very very good live seen them twice this year in the rain at Leeds and then at the M.E.N a few week back. They do put on a show thats for sure was an ickle bit dissapointed with the M.E.N gig because the set list was a bit weird and disjointed to much stop start but very minor complaint Foo Fighters probably slightly better in my opinion but o well, subways are very good live as are the strokes

    Permanently confused

I'm pretty sure they would be immensely good, as eventhough I am not into rock music anymore, and have consequently moved on, that would be the one rock band I would love to see live.

The best concert I've been to was a relatively small one of Matisyahu, I was about 3 foot away from him as he played to a small crowd of about 200-300 in the Carling thingy in Birmingham (no idea why, I've seen him play to massive crowds on the interwebs) and it was a legendary night.

Thats the only bit that makes me think 'Damn! I wish id been there!'

With me, I preffer gigs with good local bands in small clubs and pubs. Went to see my mates band on sunday (Subjeeniuz) and they were awesome, mosh pit on the smallest dance floor in town, face to face with the singer shouting the lyrics, was awesome.

My problem with big gigs is that, yes they have the effects, loudness and the awesome skill that pro musicians bring, yet it just doesnt have that cutting edge of being cramed into a small room being toe to toe with the band.
