Muse - The best live act in the world? Discuss...
Hey everyone,
Fresh from seeing Muse on Sunday night, stood at the front front bouncing up and down like an idiot for well over 90 mins. Still grinning like a child, something I will never forget in a hurry! The question is, have you seen them? And do you agree that this band kick ass live? Cheers Chris |

Saw them in Brum last year (or maybe the year before - my memory is going) and I thought they were massively overrated.
Nowhere near as good as I was hoping. It really showed how much Bellamy’s voice brings down the rest of the band

eh? Bellamys voice carries the band for me... It sounds just like the cd, not many bands can sing live these days, but Muse are one of the rare few that I would say can? Maybe he had an off day when you saw them>?

Go see Rammstein live and you'll change your opinion.
You'll also be death for 2 weeks, and at the end you'll be surrounded with 20,000 metal fans all smiling, which is a weird experience.

![]() There's no such thing as the "best" live act because it's all down to opinion.

agreed on the 'best' live act not being possible, muse do put on an ace show though - saw them at reading a few years back and it was pissing with rain, steam rising from the croud, floodlights on.. awesome atmosphere, suited the music brilliantly..
bizarely, slipnot put on a fairly entertaining show..

I can only go by what *I* have seen, and Emerson Lake and Palmer took some beating in 1975 !!
Pink Floyd, Genesis, Kate Bush, The Who and Yes were also excellent live gigs ![]() Modern bands, they dont know they're living

My "best" ever gig moment was Metallica at the Ministry of Sound, promo mini tour type thing for reload. it was the smallest venue I have seen Metallica at and I was smiling for week afterwards

Its not just about the singing and music guys, its about the show. If anyone has seen the black holes and revelations tour here it is quite something else. I dont think ill ever forget it tbh
But some could say im biased as I have loved muse for nigh on 7 years! Glad the thread has some different opinions going though, keep em coming! |
