    Favorite Album/Film Of 2006

A toughy as I like so many but I think Tool 10'000 Days is mine, I love "The Pot" in particular, followed by Rear View Mirror the Pearl Jam compilation album, just because of how much I've played it over this year. The new Incubus album Light Grenades has'nt been in my player for long so I've left that out but it's certainly high on my list. I'm also still listening through the new Deftones album which is growing on me....oooo so many.

    How about yours?

Albums a toughie as there've been quite a few good records released this year, probably Stone Sour - Come What(ever) May.

Its been a lax year for movie's though imo, so I'm gonna stick with Metal - A Headbangers Journey as far as that goes.

I dont really watch movies so it's difficult to say... Pirates of the Caribbean maybe?

As for Album, that'd be Bonobo - Days to Come

IIRC the Jason Statham one is called Crank

It was a good film, but I think this years winning film for me has to be District B13 ( yeap that canadian parkour (sp?) action film )

Gripping storyline, some brillantly shot action scenes and a storyline which could all to well happen in the future.

As for the music, there's been a few choice albums for me, Snow Patrol's new one and Broke'n'English - The Autobots being the 2 I've been playing a lot recently.

I cannot decide between the 2 so I call it a tie for 1st by those in my listings

Yeah Crank was cool another one I enjoyed with Jason in was Revolver. I also liked Lucky Number Sleven and Pirates Chest.

On the whole though I agree with Nox the film scene has been left wanting a little this year, esspecially good horror ones.

...And my album should be out early next year, so by default that has to go on the best 07 thread

Justin Timberlake's FutureSex/LoveSounds album was the best this year for me, epic production levels eventhough Timbo was stepping into a new style.

As for films, not seen many this year, but I particularly enjoyed Borat and Jackass 2. There were probably better ones out this year, but oh well.

Pirates 2 was rather good, so it gets my vote for film.

Album, well - i've only bought one album this year: Trivium - The Crusade
