    London Transport Rant!

Everyone on forums and stuff are going... YEY SNOW!! and it started me on a bit of a rant after my journey to work this morning... Basicly... London transport is stupid expensive yet still a shambles!

    It rains.... london transport dies
    Its windy... london transport dies
    Its hot... london transport dies
Its autumn... leaves fall... london transport dies
    Its cold... london transport dies

The rest of the time.... Engineering works, signal failures or strikes!

Thank god I'm leaving London in 6 days

If a speck of snow hits tarmac the whole country grinds to a halt (or that is how it appears in Essex..)
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning, We will remember them.

I know...where were the gritters, the news has been saying for days that it'll snow today, and yet they act as if they are caught on the hop. It took me 2 hrs to get to work. (usually it takes 20mins)...no accidents just everyone going painfully slowly...../rant over

You're special though. In a rainbow kinda way
    Unhelpful posts:
    • Replying with "This" to someone else's post
    • When a product has a known flaw that's posted about all over the web, posting "But mine works fine guys"
    • Asking a question that's been covered many times - use the forum search first

Wait till he's spoken to me in MK after I've had a few pints

He'll be legging it down the motorway arms swinging screaming for the men in a padded van to come collect me.

Anyway, it is stupid how this country gets all it's transport system broken after less than 4 cm of snow. Surely we should be better prepared, but to make matters worse I have not seen any gritters up here in Manchester over the last few days and they've had a few days notification of the cold snap appearing.
