Mine's using around 70% on a Q6600 @ 3.1GHz, it seems to be very well multi-threaded though, the load seems to be spread amazingly well.

I've ordered myself a few new parts this morning and expect them to arrive on Monday or Tuesday so I should be a lot better equipped to play by then

    Re: Battlefield 3

I said it was using less than I thought, just had a CTD after being 2nd on the board with a cracking KTD ratio () so I'll fire up task manager and see how things are looking.

Great, I take it stats dont apply if you crash/exit out of the game before the match ends?

Is there anyway I can practice my flying in jets and helicopters without killing other folk? Everytime I get in one, I'm usually upside down on a hillside within about 15 seconds

Yeah it says activation at midnight, was a bit disapointed but i'm too tired to wait.

Will give it a go tomorrow evening now.

I was just on a server with one other guy, helicopters...crashed, jets?...crashed...

ended up trying to shoot down all the trees on the map which was quite tiring!

If you are getting CTDs then try joining servers that don't use PB.

Right click on the BF3 icon in Origin and select the option to repair the installation.

    Re: Battlefield 3

After playing a bit of MP when I got in last night, I decided to have a bit of campaign action, but it just wouldn't launch.

This launching from a browser nonsense is b*ll*cks. I can understand server browsing, but the single player campaign does not need to be launched by battlelog.

    No, you're right, it doesn't.

Just click the play button from within Origin
