    Re: Battlefield 3

Good to see the letters on the map now.

    Vehicle wise.

First one is the Multiple Rocket Launch System (MRLS): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multiple_rocket_launcher

Seen in the Thunder Run Singleplayer Mission. Sure they will be noob friendly but not doubt really weak. If used right they will be dangerous but then so is any weapon/vehicle in the game...

    Russian: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BM-21_Grad

    American: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HIMARS

The other 2 are crosses between the MBT and the APC's --> APC with MBT main gun on it. They are tank destroyers with weaker armour but the same offensive capability as MBT's.

    Russian: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2S25_Sprut-SD

    American: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M1128_Mobile_Gun_System

That makes the 5 new vehicles the 2 tank destroyers, the ATV and 2 MRLS's. Then of course the AC130.

Im actually tempted to get premium for this. The DLC seems to be adding quite a bit of extra functionality and not just a reskin and a map.

Agreed. The content for the price is excellent.

I debated for a bit but then if you want the DLC (and each pack seems to have at least one "killer" feature so far) then it's cheaper to just get them all. So I took the plunge last week and have not looked back

I got 'Elite' as I bought the Hardened edition of MW3 for PS3.
I've since sold MW3 but the value was there (if you like re-skinned maps etc).
All the map packs were included which were also released at a later date for non elite members (completely disagree with that) but the cost of elite is cheaper than buying the map packs seperately so if you wanted the maps you were better signing up to elite for the price reduction as well as getting them sooner than none elite members.
There was also all the stat tracking and clan stuff but I never used any of that and soon realised what a mistake I'd make in buying MW3 (not elite, I think that works) but MW3 was pants.

Keeping a close eye on the BF3 premium service but there is that many games at the minute I want to get through I don't really want to get into another subscription based game where I dont think I will get my moneys worth from time playing it.

It's not a "premium service" or subscription like COD Elite - it's a one off upgrade that you pay that gives you a guaranteed set of content.

From the looks of the product lifecycle this will basically get you all DLC/expansion packs for BF3, since BF4 will be out 2013/2014 which ties in with the last expansion pack.

Deffinately need to get back into BF3 having watched the trailer. Had it uninstalled for long enough but when my new rig arrives, might be time to buy this premium DLC stuff.

I wish we could go back to v1.0 - i don't even care about the OP NV scope.
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.
