I did the exact same thing the first time I did a brawl, killed the person... fists came up and I thought "eh? where is my sword" hit Q, pulled out sword and killed the person. 1000 gold bounty... opps! Really should have read what it said in the dialogue.

One thing that confuses me about Skyrim is all mages that you meet wandering about in the wilds are hostile, necromancers I can understand because they always were in Oblivion. But I was just walking along to my next way point and this fella called "Master Conjurer" rocked up started hurling destruction spells at me and summoned a frost attronach. I'd done nothing to him! ...he's dead now of course, I encased him and ice (shout) and bled him like s stuck pig whilst he was helpless on the floor but still.

If anyone is going down the stealth route definitely pick up the perk that (I think its called blade assassin or some such) makes daggers do x15 damage! It's a brilliant perk, I made a rather nice dagger and upgraded it to "legendary" and then put an enchantment on it (fire). Crept up on a frost dragon and one hit killed it with a slash to the tail. They don't drop dead instantly though they seem to take off, fly around and then crash down dead.

Started experimenting with the magic the other night, does anyone else like to kill an enemy, resurrect him/her and then kill them again? or is that just me?

I love it when bad guys reanimate their fallen comrades. Fighting against 'Novice necromancers' Novice necromancer' is just funny

My copy keeps crashing after an hour or two of gameplay. Quite annoying. I've been searching forums and it seems to be running into the 2GB limit and crashing - I'm not sure if this is true for me ( I don't have task manager open whilst playing ) but an extra 2GB might make it last a few more hours...

And your stuff doesn't disappear? I've come across that place before but every time I've left something in a random storage chest it's goes after a while.

Depends how long you leave it. You're good for something like 30 days without coming back. Might be better to leave it outside of the container too, don't know.

Anyway, houses in several towns are very cheap, and you get free ones with certain quest lines.

yea i missed it. you sure its there? diddnt see it. will chooe a builder for my next clas.

@kal. cheapest house u can buy is 5k. Also, if i come back before the 30th day or whatever the limit is, does the game auto reset and you got another 30 days before all your stuff dissapears?

My character can make 5k in a day! Mines a bit of iron ore, transmutes it to gold, smelts to gold ingots before crafting jewellery which he enchants with minor charms and sells at a great mark up

Yes, counter is reset when you return to an area.

I just told you how

If you can't transmute (haven't found/bought the spell, or don't have enough magicka) then just mine silver ore directly and make silver jewelry - doesn't sell for as much but still quite a lot.

Of course, you could just chop wood or harvest farming for the various farmsteads around the place (you will come across Ivarstead quite early on in the game). A.k.a. GET A JOB you loafer

I have nto encountered many places where i can mine. Also, a job? how and where lol. What level is your char and whats our steam ID so i can pester you when your online on steam

Making money is easy - the pain in it is finding people who have gold to buy your loot. Most of them have less than 1k and i've yet to encounter anyone with >2k. I found one handy tip - if you pay a trader to train you up (especially at higher levels) it costs a fortune and of course this means they have lots of dosh. So the obvious step is to only train with them when you have plenty of stuff to sell - that way you can recoup your cash right away

I'm level 43 now..
