| Re: Graphics card: Now or later Don't wanna make a new thread so I'll just ask here, as I'm switching from Nvidia to ATI, can I just run a program to clean the Nvidia drivers, turn off the pc, put in the 4770 and W7 should install the ATI drivers right? What's a good program to get rid of graphics drivers? |

| Re: Graphics card: Now or later These programmes should do the trick: http://www.guru3d.com/category/driversweeper/ http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=745 I would also make sure you have the latest versions of the ATI graphics drivers and CCC too. | Re: Graphics card: Now or later Just uninstalling it from the add/remove programs list should be fine. The problems tend to come up more when your updating drivers for the same type of card ie ati>ati or nvidia>nvidia When your swapping manufactor then bits left behind are generally not an issue. aka the bargin-bucket-build Is now FINISHED |

| Re: Graphics card: Now or later Sigh Ebuyer have been a bit slow and it still hasn't turned up. It's not fully 5 business days yet so I can't really complain I guess. It's been listed as "Payment Taken" and "Goods allocated" since Wednesday last week but hasn't given me any estimated delivery time... Usually they're fast but I guess not this time. |

| Re: Graphics card: Now or later oh thanks erm any way i read some one put this on ebuyer about the card "Yes the picture is correct. The card stays quiet when idle and gets a little noisy when loaded. While the card has the new cooler it has even less power circuitry than the original board (though it may be of higher quality). Also this card does not come with the voltage adjustment chip like the originals so you cannot modify the core voltage. If you are looking for a card to run stock then this is the one to get however" is it true about the voltage chip and that its can not be modified like the rest ?? sc 00 terx |
