    Selling a 8800GT...

    Dear all,

I'm thinking of upgrading my 8800GT, can I kindly ask how much am I likely to get for this once known beast of a GPU?

    Re: Selling a 8800GT...

Just paid £50 for a 512 one on these very forums. Depends on condition/type (memory etc.) Looking on Fleabay 512 mbs go for £70ish new from places like China but secondhand it varies - for a 512 I'd say £40-£50 mark depending on condition. Depends a lot on the buyer too of course, I was in a rush to buy one because I'm building a gaming rig for my other half and it's her birthday very soon!

Other wiser heads here may have more accurate ideas than that though.

Caution: I don't know a dungaree from an overall.

Depends on where you're selling it, condition, model/make
    If it's a 256mb model not much.

£40 would be a good fair price

Fleabay, can get a bit random, you can get silly bidding wars and real twonks who can push the price right up, so you might get as much as £70 or as little as £20
