    Question LCD Trouble

I have a BenQ FP737S 17inc LCD monitor, when i start up my computer it gives me display for 5-10sec and the turns off again, if i take out the display cable and plug it back in again it gives me display for another 5-10sec and then turns off again? what might be the problem?

Is this a new or old monitor?

Could be a power supply problem. Is it new? I'd contact the supplier and arrange a RMA.

This sounds like your monitor is faulty but before you RMA it make sure it isn't a graphics card issue by testing your system with a spare monitor.
