    X800Pro - XT Succesful Softmods !
    Some threads going on other forums at the moment about people that have successfully soft modded the current batch of Club3D X800 Pro Vivo cards to XT by flashing with a Gigabyte Bios.
    These cards are shipping with the 1.6ns Ram, bridges still intact and even have XT stickers on the HSF - by all accounts they are effectively XT cards with 4 pipelines disables in the bios

    Getting one myself tomorrow to have a go

    Bindi - according to walrusbonzo they have 4 in stock at teks at the moment

    Well cancelled my order at CCL tonight and placed one at TekHeads for a X800 Pro VIVO with 1.6ns RAM

    BIOS Flash here we come!

    Exactly when they come out!!!

    It has VIVO the works, basically it is a 16 pipe card with 4pipes disabled!

    I ordered one off Tekheads today as well, however I just noticed the ones they had instock were NOT vivo !?!?

    Oh well will find out tomorrow :/

    It definitly had the XT sticked on the heatsink and 1.6ns ram as the guy on the phone confirmed it for me. So *should* still work...

    Are you sure it's not vivo mate ? The description says TV-OUT/DVI which is vivo ? ie video in, video out..

    No thats TV-OUT and a DVI connector (for TFT) they have another card that is VIVO and says it in the title.

    I think it does have VIVO, but it deffo has 1.6ns RAM Which will mean the chances of an XT core are high.

    Yea it definitly has the X800 XT Heatsink sticker and 1.6ns ram as I got a nice feller at Tekheads to check.

    However I am doubtful its VIVO as they have it listed seperatly for more. I hope I am proven wrong. But these are the two products:

    Club 3D ATI Radeon X800 Pro 256MB DDR3 TV-OUT/DVI Club 3D 269.00 316.08 0 (this is the one that was in stock)

    Club 3D ATI Radeon X800 XT 256MB DDR3 VIVO Club 3D 310.00 364.25 0

    IT WORKED! 16 Pipes hell yea The Tekheads card WAS a vivo and the gigabyte bios has unlocked my pipes. Cant bench until I get home I am on a very flakey XP2000 that blue screens regularly anyway. But all 16 pipes are unlocked according to ATITool.

    Why cant you wait 2 weeks for a proper one from Komplett at £20 more?

    Their is no 100% sure way that these cards will work or stay full 16pipes. Their may be a reason why these cards had them pipes disabled in the first place. Im not discounting the fact that they just shipped XT chips as Pro chips. But the XT chips are in very hot demand. So rebadging then sounds unlikely to me.

    Just watch you dont buy a good card and duff it up, thats all im trying to say
