Sony SDM-S73 TFT - opinions?
Just spotted this TFT, I think it was pointed out a couple of months ago as being a good buy but didn't really look at it.
The specs on the Sony site are HERE Could someone please tell me if there is anything that doesn't look too good on the specification, apart from the fact that it doesn't have DVI. I know it's a bit of a downpoint but alot people have said that it produces a good quality picture. Seems to be good for the price, it is £255 at dabs and the DVI version is about £55 more (which is too much) I wanted a 19" TFT but am now considering this TFT because of the price. Let me know what you think or is there anything else with a good quality display for about £250 |

Hiya Faisal (its me TweeTeee hehe)
The monitor sounds decent for a 17", but you will be paying a bit for the Sony name. You could probably pick up a similair speced 17" TFT for a little over £200.

Look neat, reminds me of them 17" SiliconGraphics TFTs that used to be popular in the day.
I used them before and although the display was great, foudn that widescreen on 17" made it look to small. Felt more like a 15". Hope it works out m8
