Cool LCD TV next to LCD monitor - best solution?

I like watching TV while doing stuff at the computer, so I wanted to put an LCD TV next to my LCD monitor, but it seems like the cheapest LCD TV's are priced @ around 500$ atm.

So I'm wondering whether it's possible to buy another LCD monitor for some 200$ (quality not that important for watching CNN news etc) + TV tuner card for my PC and plug the 2nd monitor to my PC so that it can serve as TV. My questions to you experts is whether it's possible at all and what I need to make it happen (atm I have a standard graphics card Gf2 Ti). Thx!
