Which ATI Drivers should i get?

I've currently got the official catalyst 5.6 drivers. I know there are alternatives such as omega but why should i get them over officials?

Im using a 9800Pro and most played game is Farcry, just got San andreas as well.

What should i be running? Also in the past i've had issues with 'file' and 'edit' etc buttons turning a funny colour with omegas.

From what I can gather the Omegas are tweaked for better performance etc.

Easiest thing would be to create a restore point, install the latest Omegas and try them out. If you don't like them, go back to the restore point.

Are you having any problems with current drivers? I once always installed omega's and have never had a problem with them. Whether they give better performance than the standard drivers is open to question, which, tbh, only the individual user can ascertain. if you do d/l omega's be certain to click the sponsers logos on the site.

Atm I'm trying the 5.6 ccc (over the control panel to see how they go)
