    Question The best graphics card?

Hi!!! I want to upgrade my PC, and decided to start on my Graphics card! My current one is probably ATI's first model. It is really crap and the colours aren't very good! What is the cheapest graphics card I can buy for £40.00. Also can you have a T.V. tuner as well as a graphics card as one card? If you can what is the cheapest you can buy for under £40.00.

    Please can someone help me?

the cheapest graphics card you can buy for £40, is around about £40

seriously though, £50 will get you a reconditioned ATI 9700Pro from Retek, which is still a great little card.
If you need an inbuilt TV tuner you'll need an All-In-Wonder (AIW) card, but then you're looking at least £100 for a 9800 SE AIW

Wasn't there a refurb 9800XT at the overclockers B-Section for like £55 or something?

Seriously mate, if you get that, you will probably want to hug us in delight for enlightening you about it.

B-grade. It usually consists of products that are missing original boxing/manuals/additional software. Also they have sometimes been breifly used, but something happened - ie wrong product, wanted to return it, etc.

Either way, I think all you need to keep in mind, is that each product should be 100% working, unless stated otherwise. My friend bought a B-grade 9700 Pro and he thanks me so much for finding it, it serves him well.

In the unlikely case that the product doesn't work, places like Overclockers offer a 30 day warranty anyhow.

£40, ouch. Ill have a look in a minute to see what i can find for that price. The best value graphics card with tv tuner is an AIW 9800 pro for £88 imo.

Yup, I think that'll be your best bet for the money

For 40 you can either get an average TV card, a new lowest-model graphics card or a refurbished faster previous generation card. (well with the addition for a few bob)
