    It should be easy enough to fix, some very strong glue or epoxy to stick the section back on. As long as the contacts are kept aligned and clean it should work fine. Of course extra care will be needed removing and inserting it into the socket.

    Oh, about the first graphics card thing, does anyone else think it's weird that the guy said he would post pics but he doesn't have a camera, so maybe it is true but he photoshopped a pic of the card or something? I dunno, just thinking aloud. Idiot both ways... hehe

    Hmmmmm. Photochopped imho. Even if you were that computer illiterate, surely you'd realise that the connectors that aren't being cut off look identical to those that are and put two and two together. If they weren't needed, why would the manufacturer put them there - because they're all wuvvly and goldy shiney? .
