Question ati 9800 se soft mod

I recently bought an ati 9800 se off ebay . I downloaded the soft mod drivers and ati tool . I benchmarked the card without the mod then installed the soft mod drivers and benchmarked again and doubled the performance - so i know the card is moddable . Thing is when running the card with the mod drivers i get large pixelation when playing games . I've never used mod drivers before but i noticed on ati tool that there are sliders for memory usage etc - is there any way i can reduce the pixelation using ati tool ? I have read on some forums that the 9800 se ( 128 bit ) doesn't mod as well as the 256 bit cards . The card plays all the games i want to play so am i better off leaving it as it is with the normal catalyst drivers or can i somehow reduce the pixelation using ati tool without burning the card out ?

    Many thnx ,

That means it isn't moddable without corruption. I had two 9800SE's that were moddable, i.e. the pipes could be unlocked.

    However graphic corruption occured etc.

You can't do anything about it, it just means that one of the unlocked pipelines is broken, and thats why they locked it

    Sorry!
