Question Gainward Bliss 7800GS+ AGP Waterblock?

Anyone seen or heard of a waterblock for this card?
Seems to be the only thing stopping me from buying one at the moment.

the 7800GS+ has a bridge chip so finding a waterblock might be difficult to fit

I'll assume that the card you want is the one below which is reviewed here.

The layout of that card looks the same (mounting holes aswell) as my 6800GS. I can't reccommend what im going to say now. Its a little messy and in no way a perfect solution but I've tried it and had no problems:

You could stick a PolarFlo VGA TT block on the 7800. I did it with my 6800GS however, the base of the block doesn't cover the bridge chip. However if you fiddle around with the position of the block so that the edge of the GPU is on one side of the block you will partially be able to cover the bridge chip. Just make sure you use plenty of non conductive thermal paste on both the chips. I was a little worried with the block not covering the bridge chip completely however i haven't had any problems with it so far, even through that July heatwave we had. The block keeps my card at a steady 45 degrees as well, down from 60-70 with the stock air cooler.

As i said you could give that a go but i can't recommend it.

Haven't been able to verify that it's fits the 512mb versions yet though.

Zalman universal waterblock. So far I have fitted mine on a pcie and agp 6600gt, pcie 6800gt, pcie x800gt and an x1900xt, all with no problems. From that picture it looks like it should work fine with the 7800gs.

I think they may be out of production but a few places still sell them. If not I'm selling mine at the moment in the FS forum.
