New graphics card Im looking at getting a new graphics card at around £150 to £200. I currently have a XFX 7600gt XXX edition I'm not sure weather I should go sli with this or start over with a new graphics card. I have a asus a8n-sli premium motherboard. so my question is what graphics card can i get for £150 - £200 that will make a difference to my current gaming experience. Also how much could i get for my current gfx card its been used for 9months and not oc'd. This price can be taken off the price of a new gfx card. thanks Jagster Last edited by jagster; 08-01-2007 at 08:18 PM..

£200, then an X1950XT would do just fine for £175.. You'd probably get £55-60 for the 7600GT if its in mint condition considering they go new for £90-100.. My XPS 16 = fail Good that it RATs into my lab's 1024 node cluster..

Yes no problem as will your current graphics card. Neither have DirectX 10 support though (DX10 will be Vista only). The only ones that currently do are the Nvidia 8800 cards. ATI have something in the pipeline.

If you're looking for DX10 support for vista then you want to save a few more quid up for a 8800GTS. The 8800 is a far better graphics card than any other I've used. You wouldn't be disapointed. But if you can't get the funds then a X1950XT will be a good compromise. Core2Duo e6600 @ 3.6ghz - Tuniq Tower 120 - Asus P5B Deluxe AP/Wifi - BFG 8800GTX - 2GB Corsair 6400C4 Pro - X-fi Elite Pro - Razer HP-1 5.1 Headphones - Dell 2405fpw - Logitech mx5000 - Razer Copperhead - Nostromo n50 - MountainMods U2-UFO case.
