A tad over, but you get Deus Ex free! http://www.scan.co.uk/products/2gb-x...plus-deus-ex-3

Or in NVIDIA, I read that this is a good card. Factory overclocked. Cheaper too. http://www.scan.co.uk/products/1gb-g...ores-dvi-mhdmi

for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

It'll have to be the 6950. I think you can BIOS flash it into an underclocked 6970. Definitely check that out.

Cards capable of this aren't that common anymore. You needed the reference card to do so, and even now they won't work as they have been laser locked rather than software locked.

    Sorry

Re: Best bang-for-buck GFX card for £200?

560Ti is a really good card for the price and so is the Radeon 6950. You need a big case for the Radeon 6950 as I think it is like 13 inches long.

The reference model is 10.5 inches, and fits in normal cases fine. Third party designs can be even shorter.

Recommend you gtx 560ti or ATi 6950, both of which are very fast

    i use the following:

    http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&sou...pIBrtZ2PgCth4Q

atm the price/value/performance is arroung 560 / 6950 but 560ti & 6970 are only slightly better but more overclockable! if this is an option they are highly recommended
