Hopefully s it will force amd into selling the 79xx series at more sensible prices. It all depends upon what nvidia want to do and how much the chips cost to produce. Im interested in seeing how fast they are bu not interested in buying one.

Supposedly, the GK104 will be called the GTX670TI and will outperform the GTX580 and HD7950:

More rumours, found this on SA talking about yields.
Editor’s note: A quick conversation with Charlie yielded this tidbit about Kepler. His previous article about Kepler did not include yield problems, which at the time of publication were not evident whatsoever. At the time he researched that story he says that everyone, including public statements by Nvidia, said there were no yield problems on TSMC 28nm. I asked his opinion on Kepler still being a winner and he said “It all comes down to execution”. Yield problems change the equation and an update will be forthcoming if Charlie gets solid answers to some questions he asked in return.
Article is mostly Tegra and tbh I'm not completely up to date on manufacturing. But like the final statement this could knock on.
I just checked back to this thread and WOW it is massive thanks for all of the support guys
Some pictures of part of the PCB:

It seems the power connectors are stacked on top of each other!!
Supposedly the 23rd of March is the release date:
http://www.techpowerup.com/161587/GK...-March-23.html
Edit!!
The PCB seems to have room for another 6 pin PCI-E power connector, meaning potentially 8+6+6 PCI-E power connectors for the top version. The PCB looks around 9.5" to 10" long,ie,a tad shorter than a GTX570. I wonder if the GTX680 is a massively overclocked GTX670??

So are these now 570 replacements, not the 560Ti replacments rumoured? Darn it if so. I want a Kepler card at ~£200 (or AMD, no bias here), but I'll need it for IVB time. Presumably, a 570 replacement will be £250+!!!!

I hope these are test boards!!
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

Looking forward to a price war between AMD and NVIDIA.
It looks like next week the GTX680 will be launched:

Is there an echo in here or something?

Details of the amount of shaders and clockspeeds:

Supposedly,the hotclocks still remain.
