only way to find out is to buy it and try, nothing in overclocking is guaranteed. simple as that.

if you want 770 speeds with a guarantee buy one!!!

Clock speeds sure, it will still have fewer cores though.

if he knew what he was on about he would have said it may be able to reach 770 clock speeds but it is on a per card basis.

Re: Can this card reach GTX 770 Clock Speeds?

He's saying that they maybe difference but the main thing isd the gtx 770 can only get a few more frames than a 760 jetsream can. basicly he's saying nothing matters because the only difference between the cards is 10 frames when it comes to gaming

Re: Can this card reach GTX 770 Clock Speeds?

The only thing that matters is how fast you need it to be.

If you are playing on a 1080p monitor and don't mind turning down a few settings on the most demanding games then it'll do the job brilliantly.

You pay more you get more, but for most people a 760 will give them everything they need.

Re: Can this card reach GTX 770 Clock Speeds?

Well yes, but that's a bit meaningless on it's own.

    If it's 10fps vs 20fps then that's double, if it's 90fps vs 100fps then that's pretty irrelevant.

Some people absolutely must have 60fps and 50 fps isn't good enough, others can't even tell the difference.

read as many reviews as you can see what speed reviewers are getting.

You would need a card with a decent GPU (15%~) overclock and a very high memory (30%~) overclock to match a GTX770. A card fitted with good quality memory would have a fair chance to match a GTX770 maybe.

A GTX760 with voltage control and some Samsung GDDR5 2.8ns memory would probably be a bit of a beast overclocked.

Re: Can this card reach GTX 770 Clock Speeds?

I would of thought that when heavily over clocked it will be similar performance ,but then most 770s will be over clocked too so .............
