Decent GPU circa £50-65

So the other half has started playing WoW again, and her existing card is showing it's age (it's a 384Mb 8800, or something like) so I thought I'd get her an upgrade for her upcoming birthday. WoW is literally as challenging as the workload is, with a C2D E6850 and 8Gb RAM - she's gaming at 1080p.

Thing is, last time I looked at GPUs was when I bought my existing card: an HD7970 literally the week of release so I'm a little out of the game. I figure I should be able to pick up a half decent upgrade for under £75 - can anyone recommend anything (ideally one without a massive power drain, as the PSU is likely the next part to be upgraded)

WoW can also be fairly CPU hungry and it favours Intel over AMD CPUs quite heavily. If you find the GPU upgrade doesn't improve things enough then it may be worth looking at an i3, or even the Pentium Anniversary edition. Normally I'd say go for an AMD cpu if you're on a budget, but not for WoW (or Diablo 3 and possibly SC2).

Quad core C2D CPUs come at reduced price on eBay if your MB supports it.

But can only second the R7 260X. An rather excellent card value wise.
