    [Moast] Need new graphics card

Just bought myself a Dell U3415W and its awesome but my 750 Ti doesn't have display port or HDMI 2.0 => 3440x1440@50Hz and < 50fps in games

    Requirements:
    - Displayport + DVI/HMDI
    - Upgrade from 750Ti
    - Mostly playing WoW at the moment and watching movies/working etc but would like a bit of power for FPS's if I wanted to play them again.

    System:
    i7 2600k (not OC atm)
    8GB Ram
    Win7
    SSD
    I think a 600W Seasonic PSU

Suggestions on a postcard forum post please

There are some earlier benchmarks of WoW on computerbase.de but this is before the new expansion which is more graphically intensive.

    What is you card budget??

Does the screen support Adaptive Sync or G-Sync?

Double the performance would be around the Radeon 290 level, that's about mid-way between the 380 and 390/GTX 970. There isn't any card there at the moment but the ones either side are both reasonable choices generally.

Re: [Moast] Need new graphics card

Not sure I have a budget as such more a dilemma. Nearly bought a 980Ti already but really cant see me getting £500 worth of use out of it.

Screen is plain Jane 60Hz Display port 1.2/HDMI 2.0.

I was looking at the 970 before I got the screen for 1920*1200 gaming but I dont think its worth the upgrade for 3440*1440 gaming as it cant really cope with that resolution now let alone with next years games.

If my current 750 had display port on it and I could run 60Hz I might be tempted to stick it out as its OK for my current gaming needs, but 50Hz is getting painful and it really doesn't like running dual head with 1 50Hz and 1 60Hz
