    Graphics card upgrade options ~£100

    Hey guy's,

Long time since I have been around here, so hello to anyone that remembers me

I have two PC's that I am looking to give a graphics card upgrade to:
    The specs are as follows:

    PC1:
    i7 920
    6GB DDR3
    ATI 4890
    HX 520w

    PC2:
    i7 920
    6GB DDR3
    XFX GTX 260
    Antec ???w (im guessing 500-600)

As you can see thy are fairly similar spec, but I'm now after updating the graphics card in each for around £100ea.

What should I be looking at for these?
My only real needs are that it's Nvidia, under £100, and a decent worthwhile upgrade (overwatch)

I'm totally fine with buying used, or new. I'm just looking to be pushed into the right direction of what I should be focusing on.

    Thanks!

I doubt there are much consideration, you are looking at ~£110+ for a brand new GTX 950, If you are ok with used cards, I think you can get a GTX 960/GTX 770/GTX 680 for less than £100, and are similar performance, but obviously the GTX 960 will have lower TDP.

I know you say you want to stick with nvidia, but there new cards are currently targeting the high to mid-high end markets (£250+) and they're unlikely to be releasing new cards in your price bracket in the next couple of months. There's no word on the 1050 for example. However AMD are targeting your price bracket with Polaris 11 (card to be named officially, but probably something like RX470) This is more likely to be around your price bracket and likely to offer best bang per buck in it's price range when released.

Re: Graphics card upgrade options ~£100

I've used CEX quite a few times recently. They offer pretty competitive prices on cards, and come with a 2 year warranty as well. I've ended up with some nice cards too - purchased a GTX 570 and received an Asus 570 Direct CU II, purchased a 6870 and received an XFX Double Dissipation model. It's a bit of a gamble, but if you purchase online you have 14 days to return it if you don't want it, and you can return it to a store. They also sell RAM, so you could grab another 6GB (3x2GB) for each PC, so 12GB total, for £18...
    Main - Intel Core i5 2300 @ 3.5GHz, 8GB DDR3 1333Mhz RAM, Asus P8P67 Pro, Coolermaster iGreen 600w, GTX 480, Antec One Case

For £100 a 750Ti is probably your budget's maximum for new, but looking at used you could get a 960 maybe 970 used for that price but like a few people have said the new AMD Polaris 11 GPUs, RX470/RX460 will be out fairly soon and fit your budget much better, not to mention they're very budget oriented and efficient.

Good luck with whatever you decide would love to see what you end up going with
