    Which 1070 do i get?

Been looking around and have decided to dive into the new generation of cards, managed to sort it down to either the Asus strix 1070 or the EVGA FTW card. Which would be the better option of the two or should i go a completely different direction?

Personally, I think EVGA have always had a better warranty system and excellent customer service. e.g. they were cool about owners removing the factory cooler to fit a waterblock, and it's dead easy to transfer the warranty if you decide to sell the card later.

For clarity, I went off Asus a long time ago so I don't know if their warranty system compares, but I found their customer support to be lacking over the years.

Re: Which 1070 do i get?

    I went with Zotac 1070.

Originally I splurged and got an EVGA 1080, but it failed after just a few hours of Rocket League - hardly taxing - so with just the single datapoint I decided that EVGA either don't do burn-in tests or didn't do them very well. The one data point is obviously statistically meaningless, but it did affect my view of them - sorry, EVGA.

i'd go for a palit 1070 super jetstream, although you probably need to update the firmware or the fans will fail

    I've got this one:

    http://www.ebuyer.com/752256-palit-g...070t15p2-1041g

When I bought it it had the best price for the boost clocks etc it came with by default. Can't fault it so far.
