Abit IP35 Pro and Q9650 quad core

The Abit CPU compatability list for their IP35 pro includes the core 2 quad processors up to Q9550, but not the top of that range's Q9650. Can't really see why it wouldn't work but must be a reason why it isn't listed as compatible. Have tried querying with Abit but they won't answer, so does anyone here know whether it works and which BIOS you need? If it doesn't work can anyone suggest a good compatible full-size ATX board that will (with Windows 7)? Thanks

No didn't know Abit closed but not surprised
