modem router dropout

Have installed a new TP-LINK modem/router ADSL2+ but am having problems with it losing the internet connection. It is fine and stays on continuously while the computer is idle but after a time browsing the web it loses connection. I then have to restart the computer to get the connection back again. I have used the same wiring and filter as with my previous modem which worked fine. It would appear that I have got a wrong setting on the computer or the modem but I don't know which. Can anyone give advice.

Might be a driver conflict.....try updating your drivers to see if that resolves the problem.

Is it just web surfing your doing when it goes or are you gaming or using youtube (or another video streaming service)?

What speed is your connection?

Hi, yes it it when I am just web surfing, my speed is around 4 to5 mb
