Question bitlocker recovery password viewer tool for windows xp AD users ?

    Hi all

Can anyone tell me how or even if it is possible to use bitlocker recovery password viewer tool to lookup bitlocker keys in Active directory but on a system that is running XP?

As have installed the bitlocker password recovery viewer in Win 7 in "turn windows features on or off" and it works fine after registering the dll in cmd.

    regsvr32.exe BdeAducExt.dll

But have no idea how i can give users who are still on XP system access to bitlocker recovery keys viewer in AD as not sure there is a snap in.

    Hope im making sense?

Only thing i can think of is having to upgrade all the XP systems that need access to win 7.

    Cheers for your time.

    From the Microsoft website

Supported operating systems: Windows Server 2008, Windows Vista Enterprise, Windows Vista Enterprise 64-bit edition, Windows Vista Service Pack 1, Windows Vista Ultimate, Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit edition
Obviously this was released prior to Win7, so it works for those too, but I honestly can't see how you'll get this to work on the WinXP codebase.
