Mouse cursor question when using gmail.

When ever I hold my mouse cursor over some text the icon will change from an arrow to a text icon, but in gmail it stays as an arrow when the cursor is held over some text. Just wanted to know if this is normal and just a gmail thing, or if there is a setting in gmail to change it.

What browser are you using?

When you click and drag to highlight text, does it still work as expected?

Using firefox and yes when I drag it still selects the text, just wandered if it was just me. Does it do the same for you?


If I reply to a message and leave the previous message int he reply, then the cursor does change then, just not if click to read an email and move the cursor over the text.

Just tried Firefox myself and I get the same! Doesn't happen in Chrome/Opera for me though.
