Just set up everything you need in Outlook, then import the mail to there.

File -> Import and Export -> Import from another file or program -> Outlook Express... and follow the wizard from there.

Your issue doesn't match with the subject of your post. What is the exact issue? Are you having issues with your Outlook Express program? Or, do you want to convert your .dbx files into PST format?
If you are having problem with your Outlook Express, then you should repair it. You may take help of this: An Outlook Express basic repair kit.
Or, if you want to convert your .dbx file into PST format, then you need a third-party email converter tool. I would recommend you SysInfoTools Email Converter for converting your .dbx files into PST format. First try its free demo version.
    Thanks.

F_Mill, I am going to give you the benefit of the doubt for now, but must ask if you have anything to do with the two items you recommend ?
    Cheers, David

Thumbs up Re: How to convert dbx files to pst files?

Hey guys, I'm back here with a new solution for DBX to PST conversion. This time I'll recommend a manual technique to convert DBX files into PST format. I found this technique on a blog.

First you need to download Windows Live Mail on your system. After that, you need to import your Outlook Express data to Windows Live Mail, and then export all the data from Windows Live Mail to Microsoft Outlook.

    Hope this would be helpful.

    Regards.

No g8ina. I just suggested those things to the OP. I was not sure either he/she wanted to repair the Outlook Express or convert the DBX files into PST format.

Re: How to convert dbx files to pst files?

    Hello to everyone,

To convert your .DBX files to PST, couple of programs are required. Windows Live mail and MS Outlook. Here you can easily download official Windows live mail, and the other program you require is Microsoft Outlook.
