    Laptop Wont connect to wireless

    Evening All!

trying to get my laptop connected to wireless...

when i stick the password in it says

"The network password needs to be 40bits or 104 bits
    depending on your network configuration
This can be entered as 5 or 13 ascii characters or 10 or 26 hexidecimal characters"

Now ive never seen a box like this before
im connected using the same router thts allowing me to talk to you right now, using the same password (obviuosly)

    Suggestions please...???

    Thanks!

If it is built in by Dell I dont know mate but I would have thought in the contol panel somewhere. Hang around there must be some C600 users out there.

its not its the same card as in my sig below for the c600

i have gone into the settings and said that the network does not require WEP but it still seems to think it does!

on this PC it clearly states WPA!
