| Re: Redesign of the Great British 13A Plug Actually, most products don't pull anywhere near enough power for 3 to overload a 13amp socket - the main problem with multi-adaptors is the plug-in type that take 2 or 3 big plugs: the extra weight pulls the pins away from their contacts and creates a greater risk of arcing. As long as each device pulls no more than 4.3A (or to put it another way about 1KW) there's no problem with a 3 way adaptor... // // TODO: Add witty signature here // |
